Innovation Growth and Internationalization at the School of Management in 2024

On October 1st 2024 the School of Management opened its doors to both local and international students across eight bachelor's (BA) programs and four master's (MA) programs.

For the first time in its history, international students form the majority of new enrollments, signaling an increasing diversity and international alignment. This semester, the campus is filled with a vibrant mix of cultures, fostering a dynamic learning environment that enhances the educational experience for all students.

The School of Management’s strides in internationalization align with the university’s overarching FH 2030 vision, which emphasizes internationalization, diversity, digitalization, and sustainability as its core pillars. The business programs have undergone significant updates to reflect these priorities, including the integration of current global trends, innovative didactical approaches, and the introduction of brand-new modules.

Programs Offered

At the BA level, the School of Management offers eight programs, with two taught in English. These include:

  • WI-Business Management
  • WI-Digital Business Management
  • WI-Digital Tax & Accounting
  • WI-Digital Marketing & Sales (English/New)
  • WI-Hotel Management
  • WI-Intercultural Management (English)
  • WI-Public Management
  • WI-Wirtschaftspsychologie (New)

For MA students, four programs are available, including one taught in English:

  • Business Development & Management
  • Digital Transformation Management
  • Public & Nonprofit Management
  • International Business Management (English)

The launch of two new BA programs—WI-Digital Marketing & Sales in English and WI-Wirtschaftspsychologie in German— emphasizes the School of Management's commitment to evolving its curriculum to meet the needs of a rapidly changing global business environment.

This academic year’s record-breaking number of international students represents not just a statistical achievement but also a sign of the university’s growing global relevance. The introduction of internationalized curricula and the expansion of English-taught programs aim to attract top talent from around the world, contributing to the school’s growing presence in management education.
