This application process refers to students who want to spend one or two semesters as an exchange student at CUAS.
Application Deadlines
Fall semester: 30 May
Spring semester: 30 November
Beginning of fall semester: 01 October
Beginning of spring semester: 01 March
End of spring semester: 30 June (exams might take place during the first two weeks of July)
End of fall semester: 31 January (exams might take place during the first two weeks of February)

You have to upload your Learning Agreement and the Application Form during the application process. Please download and save the documents (learning agreement and application form) first, before you start filling in! Please note: Your application will only be processed with fully completed documents.
Please note that Incoming Exchange Students are required to take a minimum of 12 ECTS credits per semester. Please only choose courses from one Study Degree Program and one semester, so there will be no overlapping of the courses. If you visit us during the fall semester, please only pick courses from the 1st. 3rd and 5th semester. If you visit us in the spring semester, please only pick courses from the 2nd, 4th and 6th semester. The course offer of Carinthia University of Applied Sciences can be found within "Current courses" of the relevant degree programms:

The School of Management offers an English taught Bachelor and Master program for Incoming Exchange Students.
International Program School of Management
All Bachelor degree programs at CUAS are taught in German, except for Bachelor Degree Programm Intercultural Management, which is taught in English.

CUAS International Relations Office offers Incoming Exchange Students support regarding accommodation. For CUAS sites Villach, Klagenfurt and Spittal rooms are available in student dormitories. If there is no accommodation available, we will help you to get in touch with potential landlords.

Every month the International Relations Office organizes day trips and social evenings. Depending on the season, ice skating, hiking, cycling or visits to cities like Salzburg or Vienna are on the agenda. These trips are always a good occasion to learn more about Austria and meet other exchange and local students!
