I have entered the business world of professionals quite early. On the one hand, it brings huge experience, wisdom, and people you meet along the way; on the other, life being a manager is overloaded with daily meetings and operational tasks, so there is little time left to deepen one's knowledge in the workplace. The International Business Management Program has been drawn up in such a way that an individual could continue his business career parallel while attending regular studying. It is not a piece of cake, but it enables you to be in a position where you can create an ecosystem in which you learn from experts, get deep knowledge, and then practice it by testing it out.
It is a program based on internationality and diversity. In the course of your studies, you are going to meet many new people from other countries, with entirely different views and beliefs and varied backgrounds, but all want to obtain knowledge. Business is always dynamic and moves at a very fast pace; as such, there is often no time for proof-reading. For this reason, the course is practically oriented, and you will be given an opportunity to test your knowledge. This often means that you will be working on case studies, game simulations, and presentations in an international team.
Finally, I would stress the environment where the program takes place, namely in Villach, known as Beljak in Slovene. Beside the international program itself, the location is on the crossroads of three very different cultures: Italy, Slovenia, and Austria. Each semester, the program organizes company visits to explore their best practices, allowing students to uncover the secrets of success in the Alpine-Adriatic region.
