The students are made aware of the societal changes caused by digitalization. They can link the subject areas of digitalization, CSR, sustainability, and digital humanism.

The consequences of digitalization for society are manifold. Technological feasibility must not be the only prerequisite for its actual implementation. Connections must be recognized and pointed out, and the technological impact has to be assessed in selected cases.
