Students know the principal methodologies of AD-conversion.
They know the most important types of resistive sensors and some alternatives sensors. They know the most commonly used Hardware and Software Components for computer aided data acquisition and data processing.

Electrical and Electronic Engineering 1, Electrical and Electronic Engineering 2

AD-Conversion Concepts, Types of AD/DA Converters and their properties (Single-Slope, Dual-Slope ...).
Applications and properties of resistive sensors for temperature, pressure, light and resistance measuring (2-Wire, 4-Wire)
Using pn-junction for temperature measurement.
AC/DC bridges, bridges with temperature compensation adjustable/non-adjustable bridges. Using industrial standard measuring Hardware and Software for data acquisition and data processing.
Discussion of terms like: SINAD, ENOB, SNR, THD, THD+N, und SFDR.
