Students are able to

  • name and understand basic definitions and concepts of project management and sustainability in projects
  • describe and correctly apply essential methods and instruments of managing projects
  • make use of technical tools for project management
  • plan, implement and evaluate projects independently

The following topics/contents are covered in the course:

  • sustainability in projects
  • fundamentals of project management
  • essential methods and instruments for planning and monitoring a project (e.g. sustainability plan, stakeholder analysis, time schedule, resource plan, risk analysis, resource and schedule monitoring, etc.)
  • planning, implementation and evaluation of an interdisciplinary project as a team
  • basic topics of digitalisation and technical tools for project management (e.g. Miro, etc.)
  • reflection on project management
