The students know the health system of Austria. They know the key actors and their institutional structures in the Austrian system as well as the financing structures of this system. They know the integration of the health professions in this system, in particular basic questions of the treatment contract and the treatment itself. They have knowledge of hospital law. Students are essentially aware of the provisions of the data protection act and the health telematics act. In addition, they know the most important employee protection regulations. Students are aware of the legal consequences of inadequate treatment, including the relevant criminal law provisions.
