Students shall choose from two different elective courses to expand their individual knowledge.

According to European Union Standards for Nursing and Midwifery students shall aquire adequate knowledge of the sciences on which the activities of midwives are based, particularly obstetrics and gynaecology.
This course focuses on the current developments in midwifery practice like prenatal diagnostics. Students shall work together in pairs and work on a project together. They shall create proper documentation and focus on the scientific evidence of the professional and academic developments. At the end of this class the project team shall present and evaluate the process of the project team.
