Upon successful completion of the course, students will possess the following competencies:
- Comprehensive Understanding of Cross-Border Dynamics: Students cultivate a nuanced appreciation of the multifaceted interactions and dynamics inherent in global business endeavors. This encompasses both cultural intricacies and legal paradigms, ensuring a holistic comprehension of cross-border operations, focusing on the European context.
- Refined Communication Competencies: Through examination of and practice using intercultural communication frameworks, learners are equipped to effectively communicate with a diverse international audience, understanding and accommodating cultural and linguistic variations.
- Strategic Analytical Abilities: Students develop the capacity to critically evaluate various scenarios, whether they pertain to business strategies in a multicultural environment or legal challenges within the European context. This involves dissecting real-world case studies and deriving judicious strategies for optimal outcomes.
- Operational Proficiency in Global Contexts: By engaging with the operational aspects of cross-border and virtual international teams, students acquire methodologies conducive to efficacious cross-border collaboration. The Internationalization - Cooperating across Borders module is designed to provide students with a comprehensive insight into the complex landscape of cross-border business activities, incorporating both the cultural and legal aspects of international business interactions. Synthesizing cultural, operational, and legal paradigms, this module explores both the challenges and opportunities associated with cross-border business activities. It involves rigorous academic exploration, combined with practical application, of the key issues that govern international business ventures, particularly in the European context.
