Students are able to understand and use English terminology and concepts related to the field of Technical English (IT and engineering). They are able to utilize English for Specific Purposes (ESP) vocabulary and discuss and explain ESP topics. Students will be able to research and report ESP and relevant journal papers (IEEE and other journals) using business and academic English. Students can effectively write technical lab reports and academic papers using the IMRAD format. Additionally, students will be able to successfully apply for a job in their respective fields.
