The students are able to

  • engage with research topics of the degree programme and relevant research groups, taking into account scientific criteria.
  • develop proposals and papers on specific research topics according to the principles of scientific work.
  • demonstrate the competencies required in the respective research areas as part of their participation in current research proposals and research projects.
  • describe and explain applied research at institutions and companies.

Theoretical and methodological foundations of scientific work:

  • Literature research on given questions from research topics at the study area
  • Development of research questions
  • Preparation of scientific proposals and papers

Integration into the relevant research activities of the department:
  • Lecture series on current research projects

Optional specialization in applied and industrial research projects:
  • Support in the preparation of a research proposal
  • Guest lectures or selected excursions to relevant research institutions
  • Project-related research work (implementation of a small project, feasibility study, etc.)
