The students

  • are familiar with fundamentals of materials for additive fabrication in the biomedical context
  • familiar with sensorization concepts for medical phantoms materials and concepts
  • have knowledge about fundamentals on design of biomedical structures and implants
  • are familiar with basic strategies to fabricate medical phantoms based on a biomedical project (e.g. 3D-printing, casting and molding)

  • Basic knowledge about sensing principles and related physics concepts
  • Basic knowledge in CAD design

  • Fundamentals on Hard- and Soft- Tissue printing
