As part of the course, pre-series production possibilities are demonstrated through CNC milling, 3D printing, laser cutting, etc. mediates. Based on Prototyping 2, models that can already record two development iterations are transferred to pre-production prototypes.
The students are able to:

  • Import and process G-codes in CNCN milling machines
  • Prepare CNC components and select the material for them
  • Carry out 3, 4 axis milling ends
  • Record 3D scans

B2.06060.40.080 - Prototyping 1

  • Overview of existing CAM interfaces
  • Preparation of semi-finished products
  • Setting up the CNC milling machines
  • Tool measurement
  • Zero-point measurement, calibration
  • Maintenance of CNC processing machines
  • Basic programming, setup of CNC-controlled machining processes
  • CNC milling (3 axis milling, 4 axis milling)
  • CNC turning
  • 3D Scanning
