Most important are the basics of electrochemistry, seen in focus for
battery technologies, basics of galvanic cells, battery research and
necessary basics for alternative electrical storage systems.
Students acquire basic biological knowledge which is relevant for the
master degree.
Basics in Chemistry, Stoichiometry, Mathematics
Basics of inorganic chemistry, fundamentals of electrochemistry basics and electrochemical cells. Galvanic cell basics and reduction potentials. Chemical base operations, mathematical and chemical descriptions. Technology cell parameters as capacitance, voltage, currents, impedances, heat, losses, efficiency, load cycles.
Basics of dry & liquid cells, rechargeable and non rechargeable cell-structures and electrolyte systems.
Overview of converter systems chemical energy directly to electrical energy, battery overview and vehicle specified battery systems.
Basics of electrochemistry, Nernst Law, overpotentials, battery, electrolysis cell, electrochemical potentials, 3-electrode setup, different applications of electrochemistry, corrosion, caluculation of cell potentials, overpotentials, general understanding of batteries
