The students are familiar with the basics for the analysis of linear

control loops and the related mathematical methods. They are also familiar with the state space design methods for continuous and discrete-time linear control systems in theory and practice.

Basic knowledge in control engineering (linear systems)

Concept of the state space, mathematical methods for the analysis of systems in state space, controllability, observability, design of linear state regulators, design of linear state observers, optimal state feedback controller, Kalman filter

Analyis and Design of linear controllers, steady state, root locus method, sensitivity analysis, algebraic design method
