In the Master thesis seminar, students are supported in their research work relevant to the field of integrated circuits design and in writing of their Master Thesis. They
- provide evidence that they are able to work and solve demanding research tasks in the field of integrated circuits and systems design, by means of scientific methods.
- define relevant research questions and aims and select appropriate methods to answer the research questions
- know about scientific working principles, technical writing, literature survey, source citation and presentation techniques
- extend their competences by guest lectures on relevant topics in integrated circuits design
- present the thesis work to an audience
- Scientific methods and technical writing
- Copyrights and citation of secondary literature
- Intellectual property rights
- Techniques in scientific presentation
- Presentation of Master thesis results
