As part of the module "Urban and Regional Development", students acquire an in-depth knowledge in the management and marketing of (economic) sites, based on the objectives, planning methods and instruments of development of cities (including downtown and neighborhood development) and regions and the economic determinants of the different distribution of economic activities in the region (including the related thereto influences of increasing economic globalization).

Concepts, tasks, and important measures of demographics, causes and consequences of demographic trends, the population Statistical Reporting System of Statistics Austria as a data source demography, demographic and socio-economic indicators of the census and their significance for regional analyzes, demographics and regional development.
