Students can name theories and instruments of technology management. They can list measures for the development and implementation of a technology strategy. They can apply methods and instruments of technology forecasting.

Due to technological convergence and shorter technology life cycles, technology management, i.e. systematic forecasting, development and application of technologies, has become an essential business function. Specific measures for maintaining and improving a business's digital maturity level are necessary.
