The students know about the components and the internal structure of a mobile (communication) system. They are able to use architectures for mobile applications correctly.

Fundamentals of Physics, Fundamentals of Computer Science (inf-01) Object-Oriented Programming

  • Processors/controllers for mobile systems
    • Market overview
    • Controller for real-time systems (automotive)
    • Processors for smartphones, tablets
    • Processors for mobile embedded systems (GNSS, Bluetooth)
    • Processors for RFID and smart cards
    • Processor interfaces
  • Sensors and actuators for mobile systems
    • MEMS sensors for IMU (acceleration and rotation)
    • Magnetic field measuring sensors
    • Audio/Video Sensors
  • Localization techniques
    • GNSS based technologies
    • Indoor navigation
