After successful completion of the course, students:

  • Understand the basic concepts of the Austrian legal system
  • Know the most important state institutions and can describe them
  • Have initial knowledge of the course of an administrative procedure
  • Gain an overview of the different areas of business law

In the course "Public commercial law" the following topics/contents are covered in a fundamental way:

  • Introduction into public law
  • Fundamental principles and legislation
  • Execution
  • Fundamental rights
  • Economic supervision law
  • Economic regulatory law
  • International aspects of business law
  • Integration of economics and law
