After successful completion of the course, students:

  • Describe processes and make recommendations using relevant and appropriate language (passive voice, language of recommendations, topic-specific vocabulary)
  • Write a business report in an appropriate style using appropriate English language that includes critical data analysis and recommendations.
  • Express themselves grammatically correctly and coherently using appropriate style and context-specific vocabulary, e.g. process description.
  • Collaboratively formulate an accurate process description in English.
  • Reflect on their performance and identify mutual language strengths and weaknesses.
  • Identify individual learning goals and performance based on their self-reflection

In the course "English: Writing Business Reports" the following topics/contents are covered:

  • Writing business reports
  • Language of business reports (passive/recommendations/formal language/compound nouns)
  • Writing Process Descriptions
