The students are able to design digital adaptive systems. Further, they can understand different digital modulation techniques and digital communication systems.
They can design basic building blocks that are necessary in transmission systems (e.g. equalizers, echo compensation, synchronization, clock recovery, ...).

The lecture deals with fundamentals of digital communications and basic building blocks.
