Students are able to
• make technical drawings and appropriate documentation under knowledge of respective norms
• to master the basic features of the analogous perspective representation
• independently record ideas and apply analog sketching techniques to design drafting processes
While doing this, they consider
• Tolerances, fits, materials and their designations, rules of dimensioning and the standardized representation of machine elements.

Technical illustrations:
• Methodology for the representation of components / assemblies
• Preparation of technical documentation
• Basic rules of technical representation (standards), dimensions, information on surface finish, tolerances and fits, materials and designations.
Imaging technique:
• Perspective sketching
• Introduction to the sketch technique of geometric primitives
• Sketching of geometric primitives
• Shading and coloring techniques
