Students are able to understand the most important components of industrial automation.
Students are able to independently solve simple automation tasks with PLC hardware.
Students are familiar with the concepts of Industry 4.0.
The students understand the idea of networking in industrial production as well as the underlying protocols and mechanisms (OPC UA, SCADA).
Students are familiar with the realization of distributed and networked production systems from the point of view of industrial security and self-directed production.
