Students have an overview on major measures in hydraulic construction.
They can allocate those to the different aims and tasks. In addition they can differentiate technical systems (in river engineering, dams and power plants) in accordance to purpose and preconditions and select them respectively. They have basic knowledge about the design of those construction projects.
