The students can develop individual projects, align their own plans with the requirements of the field, theoretically embed the meaning and aims of interventions and link them back to practice. Requirements and requests of inclusion and sustainability can be implemented systematically. They have experiences with access to the field and their own positioning therein. They are familiar with the inclusion of local players in the sense of a participatory approach. The students can organise civic platforms or initiate other forms of participation and, if necessary, moderate them. Project sketches can be concretely implemented and theoretical and empirical references can be established.

The project sketches from the first semester are led to their actual implementation by drawing on theoretical approaches and empirical findings. Students develop their own projects in small groups, align the ideas from the first semester with requirements in the field, and reassess the usefulness of the project aims with and for the focus groups. For this purpose, they have to successfully access the field and position themselves therein. In the group sessions the requirements of inclusion and sustainability and the involvement of local players are discussed.
