Students know various possibilities of socio-political representation of interests and their intervention, in order to actively participate in shaping the welfare state. Additionally, students are able to critically evaluate, develop and apply exemplarily selected forms.
Completed bachelor's degree
In the course, various possibilities of socio-political representation of interests and intervention are thematised. Based on "classical forms" - that can be found in the context of representative and plebiscitary democracy - exemplarily selected forms of participative democracy are to be discussed. In this context, the possibilities and limits of the socio-political representation of interests and intervention, as well as action-orientated concepts and methods are reflected.
