Students know the three basic types of traditional systems for financing healthcare, Bismarck system, Beveridge system, as well as market-oriented system and the typical representatives of each of these systems Germany, England, and the United States of America. Further examples of national health systems are discussed and compared by means of appropriate indicators and discussion of specific features.
