The local scene of data science enthusiasts met at the 4th WiDS Villach conference

WiDS Konferenz 2023

On 25 May 2023, the4th Women in Data Science (WiDS) satellite conference of Stanford University will take place at FH Kärnten in Villach.

The main topics are:

  • The Impact of Data Science in E-Commerce and Retail
  • Data Science Application in Gaming
  • Data Scientist in the making - How to become a data scientist (keynote and panel discussion)

WiDS Villach brings together the southern Austrian data science and research scene and representatives of important regional industries at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences. It is organised by the two WiDS Ambassadors Olivia Pfeiler (Head of Data Science, KAI - Kompetenzzentrum Automobil- und Industrieelektronik GmbH, Applied Statistics GmbH) and Anita Kloss-Brandstätter (Prof. for Mathematics, FH Kärnten).
