The Katschberg Advent Trail is a place where the magic of the pre-Christmas season can be experienced in its purest form. High above the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this 7-kilometer circular trail winds through a picturesque, snow-covered alpine landscape. Here, nature, tranquility, and the festive spirit of Advent come together to create a truly unique experience that captivates all the senses.

On December 1st, students from Carinthia University of Applied Sciences had the chance to explore this special location. The trip was organized by the International Relations Office in collaboration with the ÖH student union, offering participants an unforgettable experience. Despite the chilly winter temperatures and the occasional challenge of the uphill walk, “the effort was well worth it”, one participant shared enthusiastically. The magical atmosphere along the trail, highlighted by sparkling lights, contemplative music, and the welcoming warmth of alpine huts, left a lasting impression on everyone involved.
