Focusing on selected topics in scientific and academic writing helps students to prepare for writing and presenting Bachelor works and research papers (tailored for the respective study program). Additionally, students will be able to successfully prepare for their professional careers (job application process) in their respective fields. Students can express their opinion and provide evidence to support various viewpoints in global business settings (meetings, negotiations, international settings, etc.)
- SE: English 3 - Academic Presentation
Course contents include the following points:
- Job applications (cover letters and CV/resumé writing) and interviews in Engineering & IT fields
- Meetings, international business settings
- Research progress presentation/BA project paper
- Selected Topics in Academic Writing: e.g. abstracts, avoiding plagiarism, paraphrasing and referencing
- Preparation for bachelor paper
