Students are able to understand and use English terminology and concepts related to the field of Technical English (IT and engineering). Moreover, they are able to utilize English for Specific Purposes (ESP) vocabulary and discuss and explain ESP topics. Students will be able to research and present ESP and relevant topics in their respective programs in English, while being able to distinguish between formal and informal language.
Students can effectively describe, explain and explain technical and business graphs and figures, technical products and processes. In addition to understanding and presenting business structures and terms in their respective field of studies, students will be able to correspond (letters, e-mails) in business settings using English.
Students can express their opinion and provide evidence to support various viewpoints in global business settings (meetings, negotiations, international settings, etc.)
