My semester abroad at CUAS, in Austria, through the Erasmus program has been a fantastic experience. The small class sizes create a lot of interaction between students and professors, making the classes lively and engaging. Studying in English has also been a great way to improve my language skills. Another point I enjoyed about classes is the university’s practical focus. It's very much doing group work, doing some presentations, and being more interactive.
FH Kärnten boasts a dynamic international community with students from all over the world, South Africa,South Korea,Philipines,Ukraine,Kazahstan,Slovenia, and so on.. This diversity has given me a unique cultural perspective, made me more open-minded, and has given the chance to make friends from around 20 different countries.
The beautiful landscapes, excellent coffee, and friendly locals make Villach an ideal place to study and explore. I’ve especially enjoyed hiking to Dobratsch with 360 mountains view.
For anyone thinking about Erasmus in Fachhochschule Kärnten, my advice is «JUST DO IT». It’s an opportunity to grow, meet new people, and have unforgettable experiences.
