Strengthening Global Ties: University of Kuala Lumpur Visits CUAS Villach Campus

In a significant step towards fostering international academic collaboration, the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the University of Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), Malaysia, on its Villach campus in June 2025. This productive visit was made possible through the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 project, underscoring CUAS's commitment to expanding its global network and enriching its academic environment.

The guests from UniKL: Ms. Md Hassan Nurbani, Senior Lecturer and Head of ACE Management & Entrepreneurship Section, Ms. Hassan Haslina Senior Lecturer/Deputy Dean academic & Technology as well as Mr. Syed Mohd Ramli Syed Mohd Fawwaz Coordinator Academic Management Division  and Mr. Latif Mohamad Mohamad Haris   Senior Executive  Project Management Office engaged in insightful discussions, providing valuable perspectives on the organizational structure and operational strategies of their esteemed institution. A key focus of the visit involved direct exchanges with CUAS's Didactic Center  represented by Ms. Carmen Oman and Mr. Marvin Hoffland and CUAS Academy represented by Fabienne Sorger-Falle, exploring innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Furthermore, representatives from UniKL held dedicated talks with their counterparts at the CUAS Faculty of Management, exploring potential areas for future collaboration in curriculum development and student exchange programs. Finally future project and student mobility were discussed with CUAS International Relations Office.

This visit marks an important milestone in the ongoing partnership between CUAS and UniKL, facilitated by the transformative opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ KA171 project. Both institutions look forward to building upon this successful exchange, paving the way for deeper collaboration and mutual growth in the realm of higher education.
